Our Founder

Peter Tsialiamanis founded the first Taverna Opa location in Hollywood over twenty years ago as homage to his love of Greek food and the celebratory culture that goes along with it.  His vision was to embody the Greek spirit of “Opa”, a gathering place for guests to celebrate the basic elements of life: good, simple food, drink and music, enjoyed with family and friends. That philosophy has held true for over twenty years, and the legacy of fine, fun Greek cuisine is continuing with his children at the wheel.
